Leos 31 v Doncaster Phoenix 3

Leos returned to winning ways on Saturday with a good victory over a spirited Doncaster Phoenix side by 31-3.

After an indifferent past few weeks, Leos were back to the form they showed in the first few months of the season running in 5 tries by Neal Liu x2, Danny Thompson x2 ,Lenny Lane with Dave Barden adding on 3 conversions.

The player of the match award was between 3 players, Neal Liu,Danny Thompson and James Knibbs.The panel agreed that the award went to Knibbsy for his creative and incisive display in the middle of the park

On Saturday Leos entertain league leaders Barnsley at Crag Lane who following a recent run of good results seem assured of winning the league title and promotion to Division 1.

Leos will however be looking to inflict a double victory over Barnsley having won at Shaw Lane earlier in the season. Kickoff is 2.15pm and all home support is welcome
