Report by Peter Cooke
Leos produced undoubtedly their most disappointing performance of the season, when they entertained Hullensians.Despite taking an early lead through a well struck Dave Barden penalty,Leos then failed to secure sufficient possession or field territory,as they conceded three first half tries, all well converted to trail 3 - 21 at half time.
Two further converted tries put Leos down by 3 - 35 on 65mins.
It was only then that Leos showed the necessary spirit and determination,to gain a parity of possession and territory, allowing Jordache Myerscough to go over from close range, with Dave Barden adding the extras, before James Henry showed composure to score a late try.A disappointing day at the office.
There are new league leaders, with Doncaster Phoenix taking over at the top, after beating previous leaders Selby, whilst at the bottom, both Skipton and Moortown put in competitive performances, before losing narrowly to West Park and West Leeds respectively.Leos are again at home next week, when neighbours Moortown are the visitors.
