Where to start............

A disparate band of injured, out of position, dissolute, disjoined and dispirited Leo’s took the field, augmented by a couple of guests to put in the most futile performance of spiritless rugby served up by Leo’s XV in many a season. Granted there was many a square peg in a round hole, and injured pegs not wanting to be in any shaped hole but there was no excuse for the lack of Leo’s spirit and application as the Corinthians ran out easy winners by showing more determination, organisation and will to win than could be mustered by Leo’s. The disappointment will be felt by all who travelled to Nutty Slack, with the exception of The Cadgesaurus who transformed into Cadgeree, a somewhat prescient decision based on what he had to officiate.
All names are redacted to protect the guilty who could rarely pass, catch, tackle, or even organise themselves into a cohesive defensive line in the face of a decent but not spectacular opposition. All credit to Corinthians for their own performance and their generosity with guests.
Least said, soonest mended, onwards to the next game in the hope of eradicating this sour memory.
