Unfortunately quantity was not rewarded in quality as something resembling a rugby match ensued on the grassy back pitch.
It went something like this:
Early try for Leo’s, scrum, scrum, squabble, blood injury (Skipton), scrum, scrum, lineout, scrum, moan, whine, chelp, scrum, scrum, try for Leo’s, blood injury (Leo’s) blood injury (Skipton) extra special whining aimed at Thommo. Forearm smash on Tom Weldon. Whine, chelp moan (Skipton). Scrum, scrum, scrum. Driving maul, turnover, moan, scrum.
Halftime change of personnel.
Kick off, scrum, scrum, scrum, scrum try for Leo’s. Double sending off, chelp, moan whine, try for Leo’s. Scrum, scrum, scrum, scrum, punch Thommo, scrum, try for Leo’s. Scrum, scrum, scrum. Final whistle.
Hopefully with both teams fully staffed from now on some consistency, teamwork and catching will result in a proper game next week, although it is at Wath!
